Soulful folk music duo JOHNNYSWIM the Husband and wife duo Amanda Sudano Ramirez and Abner Ramirez make up JOHNNYSWIM. Abner trained as a musician at Douglas Anderson School of the Arts in his native Jacksonville, Florida. Amanda spent summers touring the world as a backing singer for her mother, Donna Summer. The two began writing and singing together in the spring of 2006 in Nashville and found that their similar influences of folk, soul, and rock blended together lusciously.
